Shopping festival: organization and communication
This summer traditional three-day shopping and entertainment celebration Shopping festival for the third time took place in SLC Panorama. Visitors were offered a lot of special discounts and offers from various shops. In addition to that, the main focus of the festival was endless buzz of Hollywood boulevard and its exclusive three-day program.
„Shopping festival“ is the traditional shopping and entertainment celebration, which offers the visitors lots of exclusive discounts. During those days SLC offers entertaining program for eeach age group – children, youth, families and others: various performances and attractions. Agency had a task to create and implement the three-day endless program, offering various events.
Agency created and accomplished the program, which fulfilled the whole shopping mall with buzz, endless performances, attractions and atmosphere of Hollywood.
Celebration started when shopping mall was filled with a bunch of the most famous Hollywood heroes and actors, including Marilyn Monroe, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Shrek with Fiona, Batman, Harry Potter and a lot of more.
During the first day visitors were offered to become the actors and perform in a real movie, which was directed by well-known actor Mantas Stonkus. His team, which included plenty of cameramen, set designers, assistants of props, sound director and others, worked in a real filming set in the central square of Panorama. The spectators were able to see the movie in Panorama‘s Facebook page.
During the second day visitors were invited to do some sports in an entertaining championship of hitting the ball with the head or to test their abilities in the Foosball tournament.
The last day the visitors enjoyed impressive performances by illusionist Mantas Wizzard and circus artist. The day was ended with the concert of Vilija Matačiūnaitė, Lithuanian representative in Eurovision song contest this year.
During the whole Shopping festival the smallest visitors were busy with smart animators, who not only colored books but also painted unconventional drawings on their faces and were teaching the children to dance with ribbons of silk.
The staff and owners of shops and restaurants became various characters during the festival, so they were also a great source of good mood. Also, every day was filled with movie sessions, sugar wool, popcorn, the visitors could spin the Wheel of happiness. Over 500 of valuable prizes were distributed to the visitors.
