Communication campaign for the elections of the best gastronomic project in Lithuania

The State Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy elected the best gastronomic project in Lithuania (under the frames of EDEN project) and invited VRP Hill+Knowlton Strategies to implement the communication campaign for the elections.

SITUATION
The State Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy invited to implement the communication campaign for the elections of the best gastronomic project in Lithuania (under the frames of EDEN project)


SOLUTION
– According to given communication plan the campaign had to be implemented in national TV and printed media, online news portals and social media
– Radio campaign was implemented in “Pūkas“ radio and introduced the elections as also 10 finalists of the elections (10 gastronomic projects from different regions in Lithuania)
– The start of the elections was announced in national TV  and printed media, travel media, as well as in the biggest news portals
– Social media campaign was dedicated to elect “vox populi” project. 6000 votes were given to the best gastronomic projects in Lithuania


OUTCOMES
– The elections of the best gastronomic project in Lithuania were announced in national TV and printed media as also in travel media and the biggest news portals
– Radio project was implemented in one of the national radio stations
– Campaign in social media reached more than 300 000 users
